Gifted Students

Some students ‘outgrow’ the typical high school curriculum. Others just seek a little more challenging material to study. No matter what the situation is, the Independent Study High School offers courses to help any gifted student advance:

• Students of any age are eligible for Independent Study High School courses, providing gifted students the freedom to select courses that match their ability.
• The independent study format allows students to learn at their own pace. Now gifted students can finish courses in as little as five weeks.
• AP® courses prepare students for the AP exam, allowing gifted students a means to earn college credit.
• Advanced Scholars provides Nebraska students the opportunity to earn college credit while attending high school.
